Marine Biologist / Scientist, UK

My client is a leading UK company that provides a consultancy services to any division with the water sector relating to the environment. Areas they cover include environmental modelling, water quality assessments and policy and regulation.

They are expanding rapidly and looking to fill roles in key areas.

The position I am recruiting for at this point in time is an experienced Marine Biologist or Scientist to join the team and add value to their current and new clients by working on new and existing projects.

Primary Responsibilities

• ·         Data collection and analysis, utilising statistical techniques
• ·         Reporting and documenting of data gathered
• ·         Field and laboratory work
• ·         Working with the constancy and management team to provide the highest quality analysis and reports

Key Skills and Qualifications:

• ·         A minimum of a BSc or MSc in related fields such as biology, marine biology, environmental science etc
• ·         Exceptional report writing skills
• ·         The ability to work with a variety of clients
• ·         A background in working within a consultancy company is a bonus
• ·         Strong team player

• ·         Excellent communication skills
• ·         Highly organised
• ·         A strong scientific background and skill set
