Managing Director
BC Partnership for Sustainable Tourism As the Managing Director for the BC Partnership for Sustainable Tourism (BCPST) you will be responsible for directing and executing all activities of the organization and implementing the strategic plans and policies as established by the Board of Directors, which are aimed at ensuring a sustainable future for tourism in BC. The Managing Director will be the central liaison for all parties with and in the BCPST. We are searching for a qualified candidate with minimum 5 years proven experience in a senior management position. You have a track record of guiding projects to successful conclusion working with partners from government and businesses, understanding both sustainability issues and the diverseness of the tourism industry. Excellent communications skills essential. Tourism business experience an asset as is experience in a not-for-profit or public policy environment. Post secondary education (BA or MBA) in business, tourism, environmental sustainability or a combination of the education and relevant experience are also assets.
