Job Spec: 

On a f/t basis reporting to the Executive Director you will manage all EU biofuel consulting and research tasks. You will work with the Executive Director and the research analyst to ensure that all EU biofuel issues are covered for the Center’s clients and regular updates are given. You will be able to also perform research, analysis and writing on biofuels, including EU region and Member State, and local legislation, regulations, standards, fiscal and trade policies and incentive programs for alternative fuels, including but not limited to biofuels like ethanol, biodiesel, renewable diesel, biobutanol, bio-jet, and others. Related policies and legislation on agriculture and climate change pertaining to biofuels will be analyzed as well. In addition, related issues to be covered will include fuel production technology (incl feedstock sources), vehicle and emissions technology.

The Job requirements:

- English will be your mother tongue and fluent in second European language.
- Skills in use of Microsoft Office especially, Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Outlook.
- Bachelors or Equivalent degree in energy, engineering, science, policy or international affairs.
- Prior exprience of at least 5 yrs in the field of petrochemicals, refining or fuels;the automotive industry / transportation sector;policy or the environment is helpful.
