Description

Wildlife Trust of India (WTI) invites applications from postgraduate degree holders in the Environmental Sciences/Wildlife Sciences/Law/Wildlife Crime with a minimum of 10 years of experience, to work in the Wildlife Crime Control Division in WTI.

Who we’re looking for

As Manager, the incumbent will be responsible to Function as the administrative point person for Enforcement and law division at HQ.

Qualifications and skills

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience is required in the field of Environmental Sciences/Wildlife Sciences/Law/Wildlife Crime
  • Good communication skills required
  • Inclination towards wildlife conservation
  • Post graduate degree in Environmental Sciences/Wildlife Sciences/Law/Wildlife Crime

Broad responsibilities include

  • Function as the administrative point person for Wildlife Crime Control division at WTI Headquarters.
  • Building and maintaining professional linkages with relevant enforcement agencies who deal in wildlife crime control.
  • Work with field teams on wildlife crime control projects and implement activities under various projects.
  • Provide inputs and assistance in developing relevant proposals and concepts for above mentioned project areas /regions, for fundraising in consultation with Chief/ Principal Investigator (PI).
  • Facilitating the finalization of Project Implementation Plans, in close coordination with Chief/ PI and other relevant project team members.
  • Analyzing data generated from the training and prepare reports for donors, forest department and other publications at HQ in consultation with Chief/ PI.
  • Maintain, review update and analyze records and/ or data on project deliverable as and when required.
