Manager Corporate Strategy – Special Projects (m/f)
Main Responsibilities:
In this role you will develop the agenda of special projects jointly with the Vice President of Corporate Strategy and the CEO and manage project teams and special projects undertaken for the CEO.
- Work with the entities / functions on special projects with critical strategic implications (e.g. cost reduction, joint ventures)
- Evaluate identified opportunities’ value creation and impact through the assessment of risks, probable outcomes, financial and competitive analysis, organizational impact and ease of implementation
- Plan for implementation of the opportunities
- Support on international integration topics
- Support the Vice President of Corporate Strategy in day-to-day business
- Prepare formal updates for the Board and the Executive Management Team
Profile:
- Degree in business administration or similar required
- Ideally 2 years’ work experience, preferably in the area of industrial goods, hi-tech, and/or management consulting
- Experience in the field of consulting, at least gained during an internship
- Experience in international projects and ability to handle multiple projects required
- Excellent command of MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint)
- Fluent command of English and German, both written and spoken
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Personal presence and ability to clearly communicate compelling messages to the CEO/CFO, Board, Executive Management Team and potential business partners
- Ability to quickly assess an opportunity’s potential with a fact based approach
- Short-term availability is a valuable plus
