Manager, Climate Change Services

With a strong international presence and bases covered in all Australian states, our client is a leader in the field of professional services consulting. With an established sustainability and climate change team and a strong market-share with Australia, they seek the skills of an experienced Climate Change professional.

The role will focus within carbon and sustainability compliance reporting, market analysis and strategy areas. Responsibility will be held for the daily management of:
•    Client engagements
•    Project delivery
•    Preparation of effective pitch and proposal documents, and
•    The management and coaching of junior team members

In order to be considered for this role, you will have tertiary qualifications in engineering, finance or accounting. Strong consideration will be given to candidates with a background in more than one of these disciplines.

Your client service and communication skills will be superior, as will your drive to succeed in a fast-paced and challenging team environment. You will ideally have at least 5 years of relevant consulting experience either in engineering, big 4 or a corporate environmental group, preferably in the resources or energy sectors.

Essential to this role will be:
•    Strong quantitative analysis, financial modelling and spreadsheet skills
•    Understanding of the emerging climate change regulatory environment both domestically and internationally
•    A demonstrated capacity to manage tasks, self and others to deliver projects on time, to a budget and of high quality.
