The U.S. Green Building Council has an opportunity for a practical learning experience for a currently enrolled undergraduate or graduate student with an interest in education and case study development through an un-paid internship with its Education department.
The LEED Project-based Learning intern will assist the Education Development Team in launching its brand-new project-based learning initiative and in integrating project stories into education programming. Through this position, the intern will experience the visioning, piloting, and execution of a new education initiative; gain broad exposure to LEED project data and stakeholder stories; and learn about LEED through various case study work. A motivated, creative, and innovative candidate will offer ideas and strategies to help shape this program. The intern must be professional, enjoy working as a team, and feel comfortable working with a diverse range of audiences. The intern must be available to work in USGBC’s Washington, D.C. office.
This internship is unpaid, but is available in exchange for school credit.
