Can you inspire people to love wildlife and wild places? Minsmere, one of the RSPB's premier nature reserves, is looking for an experienced educationalist. You will be responsible for driving forward a creative vision where learning is at the heart of our work. You will need to be able to inspire staff, volunteers, children, families and teachers. You will act as an ambassador for the RSPB's education programme and the reserve itself whilst developing ongoing partnerships to raise the profile of our work on the Suffolk coast.

Our innovative Discover Nature project combines a programme of built facilities including a new dedicated learning facility and family discovery zone, new interpretation, new reception and new cafe facilities (all to be ready by Easter 2012) with an exciting integrated programme of activities for children, teachers and families. We are now looking for a Learning Manager to develop and deliver this programme.

This is a three year contract made possible through funding from the Heritage Lottery Fund and the European Regional Development Fund grant from the EU through their Interreg IV A 2Seas programme.

Salary

£21,000 to £26,000 pa
