This project is looking for a lead intern to coordinate its marine turtle programme in collaboration with project staff. Responsibilities include leading patrols for morning and night surveys and ensuring the accurate collection of biometric and nesting data. The lead intern will also be responsible for training other interns and volunteers, data base management, the production of end of season reports and community engagement with the programme.
The internship runs from the 1 March until 30 November, 2013. The application deadline is the 15 November, 2012. Previous turtle monitoring experience, proven leadership abilities, organisational and database management skills are required.
The head intern receives free accommodation and food plus a £95 per month stipend. The intern also receives a £625 contract completion bonus.
