Description
A Lapwing Recovery Project has been running since 2006 to determine the success of the lapwing option in DARD's Countryside Management Scheme. As part of the project, a lapwing fieldworker is needed to work alongside the Project Officer, monitoring lapwing sites within and outside the CMS, and data inputting. The lapwing fieldworker will also help assist with other breeding wader survey work in Northern Ireland. The Lapwing fieldworker will need to have experience of surveying waders and be familiar with their habitat requirements. They will also require a working knowledge of agri-environment schemes and have excellent communication and organisational skills.
