Naples Botanical Garden is a 170-acre world-class paradise, featuring the flora and cultures of the tropics and sub-tropics including Brazil, the Caribbean, Southeast Asia, and Florida. Our mission is to conserve the plants and habitats of the tropics, cultivate beauty, offer knowledge, and inspire the protection of nature. Horticulture
Horticulture Special Collections Associate: This position is primarily responsible for the care and display of orchids and other collection plants in the Evenstad Horticulture Campus, the existing Orchid House and Orchid Garden.
Plant Health Lead: This position requires a strong background in the use of sustainable practices to manage and maintain healthy plant collections and displays throughout the Garden and the Garden’s nursery facilities on and off-site.
Gardener I: This position is responsible for the maintenance and care of ornamental beds, trees, and shrubs, as well as all areas under the responsibility of the Horticulture Department.
Horticulture Intern: Open to current or recent students, this internship is a full-time, 12-week program, running May 12 – August 1, 2025, offering valuable hands-on exeperience in horticulture.
Conservation
Conservation Intern: Open to current or recent students, this internship is a full-time, 12-week program, running May 12 – August 1, 2025, offering valuable hands-on exeperience working with plants.
Conservation Associate I: This position will be responsible for supporting efforts to safeguard and propagate rare and endangered plant species and will collaborate on all aspects of the Garden’s seed conservation efforts.
Administration
President’s Office Executive Administrative Assistant: Supports the work of the President & CEO and organizes the interaction of executive staff leadership with the Garden’s most important constituents, including the Board of Directors, elected officials, governmental bodies, and leaders from universities, botanical gardens, and other science, conservation, and cultural organizations.
Development & Marketing
Executive Administrative Assistant to the VP & CRO: Supports the work of the Vice President & Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) by serving as their point person.
Accounting
Staff Accountant: This is a full-time position that performs the administration, reporting, tracking and compliance of Garden grants, contracts, MOU’s and Capital/Fixed Asset projects.
