Description

Stipend: Unpaid- must receive credit or a stipend from a school or another organization.

Duration: Summer 2011

Background:The goal of WWF-US is to measurably conserve 19 of the world’s most important natural places and significantly change global forces to protect the future of nature by 2020.  
Description: This intern will work with members of the Latin America and Caribbean Programme (LAC).  This internship provides an opportunity to gain knowledge about environmental issues, and contribute to WWF’s mission.
The majority of work for this internship(s) will be supporting the LAC senior administrative team in a wide range of administrative tasks.
Requirements:
• Applicants must be receiving course credit for an undergraduate or graduate degree program.
• Minimum of 20 hours a week for 12 weeks
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail are a must
• Familiarity with environment issues is desirable
• Spanish language is desirable
• Skills in Excel, Power Point and Microsoft Word are obligatory; other programs are helpful
