My client is a global manufacturer in the Solar industry, they are a European company that have established a very successful international presence over the past few years. They are looking for to bring on board an experienced Key Account Manager who will be able to cultivate existing relationships with IPPs, Utilities and Project Developers.

 

Position Overview:

The successful Key Accounts manager will be pivotal in maintaining and advancing my clients position within the American solar market which is predicted to be one of the biggest markets across globally. You will be responsible for increasing sales, providing a point of contact to key clients and act as an overall brand ambassador for my client.

 

Responsibilities:-

  • ·         Increase PV module sales whilst establishing and maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction
  • ·         Continuous market analysis to identify new potential
  • ·         Provide technical support for my client’s products across key accounts
  • ·         Assisting the already established network and adding value via your experience in the American solar market
  • ·         Update account strategies and tactics
  • ·         Support both distributers and agents in identifying and qualifying sales opportunities
  • ·         Provide basic training to distributers and agents with regards to service products
  • ·         Conduct face-to-face meetings with clients
  • ·         Forecast service product sales in accordance with my client’s processes and procedures  

 

Education:-

  • ·         Must be educated to BSc level in Business Management or equivalent field of study.

Core Requirements:-

  • ·         3-5 years experience in managing key accounts and developing new markets
  • ·         3+ years in the PV industry
  • ·         Exceptional conflict management and negotiation skills
  • ·         Knowledge of strategic selling techniques
  • ·         Exceptional organisational and planning skills
  • ·         Ability to review lengthy and detailed contracts
  • ·         A proven business track record
  • ·         Available to work in San Diego

  • ·         Ability to work alone as well as part of a team
