Description

My client is one of the  leading renewable energy providers globally. They specialize in developing on and offshore wind farms with a strong market presence in Europe, the USA, Latin America and the Asia-Pacific regions. They are looking to recruit  a senior Key Account manager to join their team in Italy.


Position Overview:
Will be responsible for one of the company’s Global Accounts, managing the relationship, whilst developing customer potential, maximizing revenue and margin opportunities.

Responsibilities:-

  • Lead and coordinate the commercial, technical, operational and administrative activity with the assigned global account, in order to ensure the correct equipment supply and delivery to the customer
  • Acting as the commercial project manager with the customer, interfacing at all levels and coordinating the intervention of the involved departments in order to ensure the project’s profitability and business turnover increase
  • Designing specific action plans according to the established commercial strategy
  • Monitoring of the performance of the plans of action and coordinating the necessary departments and personnel both at a national and international level
  • Contract handling: establishing the scope, document elaboration, negotiation, launch, and project monitorization once the contract has been signed
  • Offer and order handling and monitoring within the framework of broader supply agreements: establishment of the required scope, pricing and delivery/execution terms as well as negotiation and agreement closing
  • Identification and negotiation new long term contracts, consolidating customers in an increasing business based relationship

Education:-

  • ·         Bachelors Degree in Engineering

Core Requirements:-

  • ·         Minimum 5 years experience sales and business development experience within the wind energy sector
  • ·         Strong leadership qualities
  • ·         Commercial and negotiating skills
  • ·         Project and time management skills

General Requirements:-

  • Ability to travel frequently
  • ·         Proficient with making impactful presentations
  • ·         Good oral and written communications skills  
  • ·         Ability to manage multiple projects in an environment of constantly changing priorities
  • Ability to work independently but within tightly controlled business policies

Key Skills:-

Wind energy, negotiations experience, business development and sales in Wind energy, team leadership, key account sales management, fluency in Italian (any other European language is an advantage).
