Description

My client is a leading developer in the Italian PV market. Their solar business is dedicated to investment, development and construction of solar PV projects in Europe. They focus on development of medium-large scale ground-mounted solar projects and rooftop systems. They are looking to recruit  a key Account Manager to manage and develop all their key accounts across Italy.  


Core Criteria:
The key Account Manager is responsible and accountable for managing key customer relationships, developing customer potential and maximizing revenue and margin opportunities. This includes the complete business and operational relationship with a focus on the creating demand, supply planning, project management, and fulfilling demand. The key Account Manager will create and execute the account's specific strategy.

Responsibilities:-

  • ·         Customer service for existent customers and acquisition of new customers
  • ·         Conduct of sale negotiations in predetermined desired value and tender preparations
  • ·         Conduct trainings and sales events
  • ·         Responsible for relationship management at all levels of the nominated account's organization
  • ·         Responsible for creating excellent relationships with the account's board and its top level employees
  • ·         Lead business development activities
  • ·         Develop new portfolios to enlarge the variety of products
  • ·         Manage all business development functions of the company's facilities (especially field sales and customer support functions of the business)
  • ·         Cooperate with marketing to build the brand image.

Education:-

  • ·         Must have strong educational background (bachelors degree)

Core Requirements:-

  • You will have at least 2-5 years sales experience in the solar industry
  • ·         Good understanding of regulatory requirements in the Italian solar industry
  • ·         Proven track record in solar business development and growth

General Requirements:-

  • Ability to travel frequently to client sites
  • ·         Proficient with making impactful presentations

Key Skills:-

Solar PV, negotiations experience, business development and sales in PV, team leadership, key account sales management, fluency in Italian (any other European language is an advantage).
