Description

My client is amongst  the leading renewable energy providers globally. They specialize in the manufacturing of crystalline silicon modules and are also a leading residential, commercial and utility-scale solar PV developer with a strong market presence in Europe, the USA and the Asia-Pacific regions. They are looking to recruit  a senior candidate to manage and develop all their key accounts across Europe.  The key account manager is responsible and accountable for managing key customer relationships, developing customer potential and maximizing revenue and margin opportunities.


Core Criteria:
My client is looking to recruit a senior key account manager to manage and develop all their key accounts across Europe and maximizing revenue and margin opportunities.

Responsibilities:-

  • Management and development of the existing Key Accounts relationships
  • Identify new routes to market, acquire business partners and develop innovative offers
  • Deliver agreed sales plan providing accurate demand forecast
  • Collaborate in marketing programs aimed at increasing sales & brand leadership and to build up value added sales packages
  • Follow up on delayed payments with customers
  • Be the first line of technical support for customers in areas such as: resolving basic queries on the products and systems and resolution of after sales issues
  • Monitor and support any customer strategic projects
  • Oversee and update customer's sales network and provide training where necessary
  • Responsible for relationship management at all levels of the nominated account's organization.
  • Ownership and responsibility for creating excellent relationships with the account's board and its top level employees.
  • Co-ordinate activities and communication between nominated account and the order processing, product planning, technical customer service and marketing departments

Education:-

  • Must have strong educational background (Electronic, Electrical or Business degree), project financing and management background desirable

Core Requirements:-

  • You will have at least 5 years sales & business developemnt experience in the solar industry
  • Good understanding of regulatory requirements in the solar industry
  • Ability to work under deadline pressure and deliver high quality results
  • Proven track record in solar business development and growth
  • Proven ability to communicate across all levels of an organization
  • Ability to manage multiple projects

General Requirements:-

  • Ability to travel frequently to client sites
  • Proficient with making impactful presentations
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in an environment of constantly changing priorities
  • Ability to work independently but within tightly controlled business policies

Key Skills:-

Solar PV, negotiations experience, business development and sales in PV, team leadership, project financing and management background, fluency in German and a good level of spoken english and/or any other European language.
