Junior Ornithologist / Terrestrial Ecologist

The Ottawa office is currently looking to hire a Junior Ornithologist / Terrestrial Ecologist to perform field assessments in the ornithological and wildlife discipline.  The candidate will be responsible for:

• Conducting seasonal point count surveys, including breeding bird, throughout Ontario and eastern Canada;
• Conducting quality control and assurance on field data;
• Reviewing literature, assisting in data interpretation and analysis for use in technical reports;
• Assisting in writing proposals;
• Coordinating field crews and developing work plans;
• Conducting other taxa specific surveys as required (e.g., amphibian, reptile, mammals).
