Position Description
The professional sought will have the vision, skills, experience and enthusiasm to serve the future development of our growing environmental group in the UK. The ideal candidate will be at a junior - intermediate level with some experience of the hydrocarbon sector. The key roles for this position will involve:
· Preparation of Environmental Impact Assessments.
· Project coordination and budget tracking.
· Excellent communication skills (both within the project team and the client).
· Field assessment to collect baseline data.
· Report writing skills.
Essential Skills / Experience
Work experience in EIA/SIA/CSR
Willingness to work on ESHIA projects in UK and overseas undertaking social and environmental work
Good data gathering skills
Ability to plan and organise time
Concise and accurate recording of field data, including the transcripts from consultation
Report writing experience
Coordination with subcontractors
Knowledge of international social legislation
Knowledge of economics
Field surveying experience (environmental)
An interest in social and environmental policy
Minimum of 1 year post graduate environmental experience
