Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities
Provide front-line support to all staff in Great Glen House and North offices.
Also provide a central helpdesk facility to staff in other offices. Provide an IS helpdesk for staff from Bord na Gaidhlig. Carry out network monitoring and administration for servers in GGH and North offices. Maintain IS-related logs and other general administrative duties. Maintain effective use of local network facilities and equipment. Installation, configuration and upgrading of software and hardware as necessary. Providing coaching and advice to staff regarding IS needs and requirements. Provide technical support for video conferencing and meeting rooms where required. Undertake personal training and development. Interact with other IS staff and external contacts as required. Participate in Business Planning, work recording and ensure compliance with H&S policy.
