Internships

IEEP is seeking an enthusiastic intern to support the institute’s Biodiversity Programme from November 2019 onwards.

Successful internship applicants will support the Biodiversity Programme in developing new and ongoing projects, assisting with research, and supporting the programme’s outreach and communication. The Biodiversity Programme works on several themes, including the EU Biodiversity Strategy, the Nature Directives and policy coherence and interlinkage with climate, water and health.

The internship provides an excellent opportunity for hands-on learning across a range of topical environmental policy themes, while focussing on biodiversity, mentored by highly experienced professionals on EU environmental policy. The successful candidate will work under the supervision of the Head of Programme but also in close cooperation with other IEEP Programmes and the institute’s Communications Team.
