A student internship is available immediately in the National Renewable Energy Laboratory's (NREL) Strategic Energy Analysis Center in our Golden, Colorado office. The position would be part-time (10-15 hours per week) during the fall semester.
The successful candidate will provide expertise and support to the following functions: •The National Renewable Energy Laboratory's Strategic Energy Analysis Center will review utility incentives for solar development. This candidate will research and compile relevant program information on utility solar incentives, primarily in regulated markets. Experience using the Database of State Incentives for Renewables & Efficiency (DSIRE) is a plus. •Support analysis of best practices and key implementation features of utility solar incentives.
Must be enrolled as a full-time student.
Graduate students enrolled in a minimum of nine credit hours.
Undergraduate students enrolled in a minimum of twelve credit hours.
Minimum of a 3.0 cumulative grade point average.
Must be a United States citizen or permanent resident.
Very good research and written communication skills.
Master's degree student in environmental studies, policy, or business, with background in renewable energy policy, or other relevant field.
Experience with Database of State Incentives for Renewables & Efficiency (DSIRE).
