The Climate Strategy Intern will work with the Director, Climate Strategy and Senior Vice President for Global Initiatives and Climate Change Lead to help coordinate and manage CI’S Climate Change Team, a group of approximately 150 experts from across the organization. The Climate Change team is responsible for the design and implementation of CI's Climate Change Strategy. CI’s Climate Strategy includes an overall approach to climate mitigation and adaptation that will secure the conservation of nature and ensure its continued contribution to the well-being of human and natural communities.
 
The Climate Strategy intern will engage with all levels of the organization, helping to institutionalize the Climate Master Plan, prepare regular updates on strategic advancement, capture workplan activities, coordinate communication processes between Climate Team sub-groups and other institutional bodies, assist in the development and dissemination of communications materials, and participate in the drafting of fundraising proposals and follow-up activities.
