We are seeking an eager individual to provide programmatic support to CI’s Center for Environmental Leadership in Business (CELB). The position will require administrative work and content research on environmental initiatives and corporate partnerships. For two decades, CI has worked with our partners to protect life on Earth. We aim to protect life on Earth and to demonstrate that human societies will thrive when in balance with nature. CELB engages the private sector worldwide in creating solutions to critical global environmental problems in which industry plays a defining role. We aim to promote business practices that reduce industry ecological footprints, to contribute to conservation and create economic benefits for partners. CI is a world leader in helping businesses embrace sustainable practices across a broad range of industries and environmental issues.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide both administrative and content support to CELB’s teams: Corporate Engagement Strategies, Corporate Account Stewardship and Operations
  • Research food security and sustainable agriculture issues for fall Business & Sustainability Council meetings
  • Research CELB outcomes for both teams, including but not limited to corporate climate leadership, technology for conservation, agricultural markets (supply chain engagements, landscape models, sustainable biofuels crops initiative, freshwater) and forest carbon markets
  • Provide general support in communication, mailing and database-related tasks

QUALIFICATIONS:

Required:

  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Excellent research abilities
  • Attention to detail and ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Ability to work in international office culture
  • Proficient in MS Office, Outlook and internet navigation
  • Interest in conservation
