Conservation International plays an integral role in building partnerships and developing working groups for Amphibian Conservation in partnership with the IUCN/SSC Amphibian Specialist Group. The amphibian program is in the process of developing a CI hosted website that will provide a global platform for partner organizations to publicize their amphibian conservation activities. This website will be the basis for an online global community of amphibian conservationist.
 
RESPONSIBILITIES:
 
The intern will be required to take a leading role in developing the online community aspect of the website, focusing on producing regional pages with content provided by regional partners. The intern will communicate directly with regional partners to collate information and materials that can be uploaded on to the website. The intern will also be required to produce an article on the online resources within the first two weeks which will be published in FrogLog the IUCN/SSC Amphibian Specialist Group bimonthly newsletter. In addition to developing the website the successful intern will have the opportunity to become involved in the production of FrogLog.
 
QUALIFICATIONS:

Required:
  • A communication or graphic design BA/BS student with interest and experience in print design and web site building
  • Excellent with Typography
  • Attention to detail
  • Capable of working with a team and on their own
  • Must have experience working in Adobe creative suite, mainly Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign
  • Experience working in WordPress
