• Relying on your strong technical skills in successfully completing EAs and EIAs, our senior biologists will coach you through the regulatory project approvals process.
• While undertaking 2 or 3 EAs, you maintain your commitment to overall technical and product quality.
• You will be responsible for the ultimate success of projects by advising colleagues of the scope of EAs and EIAs in work plans.
• You will define the scope and budgets for your work, and using our electronic management toolbox, manage the project budgets and schedules during execution with senior project managers.
• Knowledge and experience in aquatic or terrestrial habitat assessments; environmental management, planning and monitoring experience desirable
• Progressive experience in conducting and writing EIAs, CEAA and BCEAA experience and knowledge in provincial and federal environmental regulations
• Registered Professional Biologist (R.P.Bio) in BC or ability to obtain professional registration
• B.Sc . or M.Sc. degree in environmental science, biology or related discipline
• 5 - 7 years experience
• Strong technical writing, proposal writing and oral communication skills
