With offices several offices in Victoria and a presence in Queensland, our client provides engineering services focussed on Environment, Coastal and Water. Clients include Government authorities, mining companies and a range of other advisory and environmental groups. With a great deal of work focussed on Natural Water Systems, their workload has more than doubled in the last 12 months with no sign of a slow-down. With the onset of several large projects they seek the services of an experienced Hydrologic Engineer.

Reporting directly to the Regional Manager you will be given an opportunity to work a variety of open-channel projects. Your role will focus on:

•    Initiating and leading hydrological data analysis and hydrological modelling including aspects of:
o    surface water
o    groundwater
o    water quality
o    water use
•    Lead, manage, and provide input into the provision of hydrological and water resources services including:
o    flood forecasting
o    analysing water resources data and information
o    modelling water resources systems
o    undertaking water resources assessments
o    compiling water accounts
o    calibration of hydrological models and techniques
o    preparation of reports and data assessments
o    liaise with both internal and external stakeholders joint tasks as required, including collaborative work with other organisations or consultancies

In order to be considered for this role you will have:
•    A degree in Engineering or Science
•    Extensive experience in hydrologic modelling
•    Experience in the use of RORB software
•    A passion for water and the environment
