This project offers two different ways to help out during the humpback whale season: touristic ecovolunteer and scientific ecovolunteer. Volunteer activities include daily whale-watching / scientific boat surveys, data management, responsible tourism activities, etc.
Participants pay £175 or £285 for training course and equipment but once certified receive free board and lodging, etc. The fee also covers accommodation, food, and boat trips during the training period.
A full project description is given on the V4A online database.
