Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. 
·        Onboarding
o   Prepares Employee Agreements for New Hires
o   Prepares New Hire Packets and processes completed paperwork
o   Processes Employment Verification Screenings including Background Checks, Drug Screenings, and DOT Physicals where applicable
o   Sets up new hire email accounts, including adding to appropriate distribution groups
o   Enrolls new hire in, and ensures new hire completes, online harassment training on first day
o   Takes New Hire Photo to add to ADP file, Employee Facebook, and Renews
o   Adds new Employee To ADP, Xora, Contact List
·        Administration
o   Organizes and maintains HR file system, and files correspondence, benefits, payroll, and other records
o   Assists with data entry into ADP, Taleo, and Salesforce
o   Composes and types routine correspondence
o   Records employee information such as personal data, compensation, benefits, tax data, attendance, performance reviews or evaluations, and termination date and reason
o   Updates employee files to document personnel actions and to provide information for payroll and other uses
o   Computes wages and records data for use in payroll processing
o   Examines employee files to answer inquiries and provides information to authorized persons
o   Compiles and maintains records for use in employee benefits administration
·        Recruiting
o   Post new positions on NSL Careers page and on various external recruiting sites as directed
o   Add new candidates to applicant tracking system
o   Schedule interviews
o   Request and track references
·        Performance
o   Responsible for reminder emails to employees and supervisors regarding evaluation deadlines, both for new hires and during the annual evaluation process
o   Responsible for tracking receipt of completed evaluations
·        Employee Relations
o   Provides first level of HR support to NSL employees
§ Answers basic payroll, benefits, and policy questions, escalates issues as necessary to HR Administrator
o   Creates & Distributes Weekly RENEWS employee newsletter
§ New Hires
§ Employee Updates (promotions, transfers, social news, departures)
§ Company Updates & Events
§ Open Positions
o   Regularly Updates and Distributes Employee Facebook whenever changes are required

Qualifications:

·        Education/Experience:
o   One Year’s experience in Human Resources setting; Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
·        Language Ability:
o   Read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. 
o   Write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. 
o   Effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
·        Math Ability:
o   Calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages
·        Reasoning Ability:
o   Solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
o   Interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
·        Computer Skills:
o   Knowledge of Word Processing; Spreadsheet; ADP payroll; Internet; Project Management and SalesForce
·        Work Environment:
o   While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to work near moving mechanical parts; risk of electrical shock and vibration.
o   The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
·        Physical Demands:
o   The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
o   Specific vision abilities required by this job include Close vision, Distance vision, Peripheral vision, Depth perception and Ability to adjust focus.
o   While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
