WWT Slimbridge is looking for a Horticulture Warden to assist with the grounds maintenance at our visitor centre based in Slimbridge. The grounds consist of 100 acres of gardens and waterfowl exhibits. This position is to work alongside the existing grounds maintenance team maintaining the grounds to the highest standards possible. The post holder should be able to work well as a team member and also at times be able to work unsupervised to meet the daily requirements of the role.
The successful candidate will have experience of working within the horticulture / grounds maintenance industry and have experience in operating commercial grounds maintenance equipment. The post holder will have a recognised qualification in horticulture (RHS, NVQ I,II) or equivalent with NPTC certificates in the safe use and storage of pesticides and herbicides.
