NWT has an excellent reputation for the way in which it manages the Holme Dunes Nature Reserve. We also attract a broad spectrum of visitors from across the UK and beyond; specialist naturalists, serious and casual bird watchers to tourists, day trippers and those simply wanting to enjoy the breath taking scenery and wildlife to be found in North Norfolk.

This exciting role will focus on assisting in the management of Holme Dunes for the benefit of wildlife and people. This will include the management of grassland sand dune and scrub habitats and the maintenance of reserve infrastructure including fences, signs and hides. The role will work closely with the Assistant Warden (beach) to ensure the protection of ground nesting birds and will use engage with visitors during regular patrols of the site. Volunteers are an important part of life at Holme and their day to day supervision will be an aspect of the role. The role is fixed-term until the end of October 2021.

The salary is £1,157 gross per month, 30 hours per week (4 days/week).
