Head of Site Management (m/w) Offshore

Responsibilities:

  • Overall responsibility for site management activities within the offshore division  
  • Plan resource allocation for projects, as well as determining and monitoring budgets
  • Liaise with other departments for the purpose of consistent management 
  • Define standard processes for project execution 
  • Reporting to Vice President Offshore Projects 
  • Deputise for Divisional Head of Project Management Offshore 
  • Management of own subprojects 
  • Responsible for the execution and achievement of project specific targets and milestones 
  • Support Senior Site Manager and Site Manager in discussions with the client 
  • Temporary works on-site

Profile:

  • Degree in Engineering, majoring in structural or mechanical Engineering or similar 
  • Minimum of 5 years work experience preferably in a similar role, in offshore-, wind- or construction industry 
  • Leadership experience mandatory, ideally in site management and in a line organisation  
  • Experience in  management and execution of construction sites 
  • Experience in safety at work 
  • Good command of English at negotiating level 
  • High level of proficiency MS-Office, MS-Project, SAP, etc. 
  • Technical and business acumen as well as planning and organisational skills
  • Demonstrable communication and negotiation skills, together with assertiveness
  • Reliability, conscientiousness, initiative and ability to assume responsibility
  • High degree of flexibility, loyalty and team spirit
  • Appreciation of the dynamic nature of the offshore wind power market and the associated changes that may be required at a corporate level
  • Willingness to travel in Germany and abroad occasionally
  • Ability to work at heights and offshore (extended level G 41)
