Our client is a vertically integrated manufacturer of PV cells, modules and custom-designed solar power applications and has 10.000 employees around the world. The company is one of the fastest growing companies in the industry and has subsidiaries in North-America, Europe and Asia.

For the Italian market our client is seeking a Head of Sales.

Your tasks will include

  • Manage and coordinate the Italian sales team, develop customer accounts in line with business strategy and marketing plan and sell the company’s products in order to achieve sales targets
  • Execution of the sales management process focused in the closure of supply relationships with accounts. This shall include: locate account’s decision makers and build stable sales relationship, solve all commercial, technical and/or financial objections of the account, define opportunities and sales proposals, analyse input from sales planning and credit management and revises offers accordingly, negotiate price, volume, contract terms and conditions with customer, close deals and coordinates contracting
  • Ensure high customer satisfaction at all times
  • Represent the company’s brand in front of sales accounts
  • Create awareness and demand for company products
  • Ensure compliance with internal processes and policies and external regulation at all times
  • Document sales process and ensures high data accuracy
  • Manage company risks involved in sales process
  • Ensure compliance to internal procedures and policies and external regulation and standards

The desired qualifications are

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, engineering or comparable; Master’s degree is a plus
  • Around four years of experience in sales of PV modules
  • First experience in leading a team
  • Good MS Office skills
  • Eagerness to learn and develop individual competencies
  • High commitment and flexibility
  • Result-driven approach and ability to work autonomously
  • Proactive attitude, high initiative to take on challenges and excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Eagerness to learn and develop individual competencies
  • High reliability and ability to work under pressure
  • Excellent teamwork, communication and intercultural skills
  • High flexibility and willingness/ability to travel (estimated 75%)
  • Fluent in Italian and English is a must; additional languages are a plus
