Job description

  • Coordinate and lead local sales department
  • Focusing on market development
  • Management of the internal sales process and hand-over to the project execution departments
  • Coordinate enquires from Key Account customer
  • Support customers in understanding, defining and documenting their requirements in the process of developing solutions to support their business
  • Analysis of offer scope and calculation
  • Carry out a risk evaluation of the project
  • Preparation of proposals and negotiation of proposals and complex contracts with our customers until the final contract closing
  • Analysis of customer needs and ensuring customer satisfaction
  • Working with CRM tool
  • Coordination with related departments during sales and/or tender process

Job requirements

Within your function as Sales Director you will be the interface between the Italian Sales organization and the Sales department in our Headquarter located in Hamburg, Germany. You will report directly to the Managing Director of the company as disciplinary superior.

You should hold a University degree of economics or mechanical/electrical engineering with work experience of minimum five years within in sales of machinery or investment goods and with work experience with sales to utilities and other institutional investors as well as B2B in the Italian Energy Market.

Beyond that you will have the following experience and skills:

  • Strong communication and negotiation skills
  • High integrity and motivation
  • Knowledge of alternative energy solutions and regulatory frame work
  • Excellent knowledge of both written and spoken English, knowledge of German language is an advantage
  • Ready to work in a dynamic and fast developing atmosphere
  • Experience with cash flow modeling is an advantage
  • Understanding of intercultural communication
  • Proactive and result oriented approach with strategic and analytical skills
  • Skilled in working with figures
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Competence in MS Office applications
  • Willingness to travel on a regular basis
