As a leading figure in the fight to address climate change, we aim to reduce energy consumption and carbon dioxide emissions throughout the UK - and as energy conservation has never been higher on the public and political agenda our work is more important than ever before. You'll lead our work in the field of Low Carbon Technologies - managing a team, and working across a range of carbon reduction technologies to expand our in-house expertise. Focusing on technologies which are market ready but not yet established in the marketplace, you'll deal with low carbon heating, renewable electricity micro-generation, and community scale generation technologies. Through your work, you'll create and develop extra funding opportunities, and will be involved in tendering, pitching and contract negotiation. Educated to degree level in an environmental, engineering or technical discipline, you'll have an in-depth knowledge of the technologies, markets and stakeholders relating to household scale carbon savings. It's important that you have a track record of leading teams, networking with industry stakeholders, developing projects and managing budgets.
