Description

Climate change threatens devastation for both people and wildlife. Following the failure of the global climate talks in Copenhagen, we need an inspirational leader to help drive forward a refreshed work programme. We need someone with a passion for nature and an understanding of climate change science, policy and politics. We want someone to maintain and develop our impressive advocacy track record. You will be a respected advocate and an experienced campaigner. You will have the confidence to manage and develop a dynamic team as well as the aptitude for working across and co-ordinating action by a large organisation. You will also have the ideas and energy to harness the power of our million members, to work with our BirdLife International partners and to ensure that we practice what we preach about climate change mitigation and adaptation.
