Head of Centre

FSC Flatford Mill, Suffolk 

Field Studies Council is an educational charity that delivers its mission of ‘Bringing Environmental Understanding to All’ via its extensive network of established Learning Locations based throughout theUnited Kingdom. It is looking to appoint a Head of Centre at Flatford Mill Field Centre in Suffolk. 

The successful applicant will need to build on the Centre’s excellent reputation as a lead provider of fieldwork and to support and develop its continuing education programme.  The successful candidate will have the ability to motivate others, enthusiastically promote both the Centre and its courses and be skilled in the management of people and resources.  In addition, experience of the development and delivery of teaching programmes and a keen interest in the management of buildings and land will be necessary.   Experience of working in a residential centre would also be advantageous. 

Salary will be in the range of £44,978 to £53,637 per annum.
