Head of CDM, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

My client is a turn-key solution provider for CDM project developments in South East Asia and Africa. They are currently looking for a candidate to take on as a head of CDM in Malaysia. This is an exciting position in one of my clients key growth markets, in which you would be responsible for the strategic development of the company’s CDM revenues in Malaysia and one that would offer opportunity for organic growth within a highly established organisation.

This is a unique opportunity for an experienced CDM consultant who has had extensive experience in originating and executing new projects to progress into a business lead position and put their stamp on a key growth sector within the CDM market.

Responsibilities:

• Take the lead in the implementation of new CDM projects
• Follow projects through to validation and verification
• Liaise with clients and project developers to ensure that projects are being designed and built to specification
• Provide training to clients with regards to the implementation
• Manage a team of CDM consultants efficiently so as to ensure that strict deadlines are met.
• Ensuring all documenting and monitoring of information within paperwork is correct.

Requirements:

• Have solid experience in working on CDM projects in a technical capacity
• Have followed projects from initial assessment through to validation and verification.
• Be willing to travel around Malaysia frequently as well as occasionally to other countries within the SEA region eg. Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore etc
• Capable of working independently and can be relied upon to effectively lead teams of consultants.
• Fluent in spoken and written English.
