Who you are

  • You have a passion for integrating environmental, social and corporate governance issues into the mainstream investment process
  • You have 5-10 years’ experience working in the financial markets, preferably in a sales or marketing role
  • You have a robust understanding of capital markets and the investment management industry with a passion for sustainable finance
  • You have strong management skills to ensure day-to-day running of the team
  • You are a strong communicator with the ability to draw out key messages from complex research for both internal and external audiences
  • You have exceptional sales and marketing skills to develop high level relationships with key capital markets players to increase awareness of CDP’s program
  • You are a high-level, strategic thinker who can also dive into the details
  • You will lead the North America Capital Markets team, reporting to the Global Director of Capital Markets (based in New York)
  • You will implement CDP’s global capital markets’ strategy as appropriate for the North American market
  • You will develop and build strong relationships with key investors, financial institutions and other capital markets participants
  • You will convene events with major financial institutions and investors to raise the profile of CDP’s capital markets work across the North America financial sector, with specific focus on the environmental impact of financing (“financed emissions”)
  • You will achieve financial targets for the North America Capital Markets program
  • You will remain abreast of investment trends in ESG, feeding information back to CDP management and the wider capital markets team
  • You will utilize knowledge and understanding of sustainable finance to further engage the broader capital markets
  • You will work with other programmatic team in collaborative projects and activities to achieve CDP’s overall strategic plan and implement a regionally appropriate strategy

 

Your day-to-day

  • You will lead the North America Capital Markets team, reporting to the Global Director of Capital Markets (based in New York)
  • You will implement CDP’s global capital markets’ strategy as appropriate for the North American market
  • You will develop and build strong relationships with key investors, financial institutions and other capital markets participants
  • You will convene events with major financial institutions and investors to raise the profile of CDP’s capital markets work across the North America financial sector, with specific focus on the environmental impact of financing (“financed emissions”)
