Grid Scout (m/f) Offshore
Responsibilities:
- Analysis and documentation of grid requirements in Europe
- Support during project specific negotiations with grid operators and clients
- Technical cooperation and information exchange with the grid operators
- Networking and influence of grid codes through work in national panel
- Active tracking of long term grid code trends and national stability studies
- Presentation and discussion of REpower technology with grid operators
- Participation in technical trainings and seminars at REpower Germany and abroad
Profile:
- Degree in electrical engineering or similar
- Knowledge of wind turbine technology and electrical grids
- Knowledge and relevant experience in grid stability studies is an advantage
- Several years work experience in grid connection of power plants and project management
- Fluent command of English, both written and spoken, proficiency in German is an advantage
- Analytical thinking
- Negotiating skills
- Appreciation of the dynamic nature of the offshore wind energy market and the associated changes that may be required at a corporate level
- Ability to work at heights and offshore (extended level G 41)
- Willingness to travel
