A great opportunity has arisen to join the Suffolk County Council's Suffolk Green Access team as a Green Access Development Officer. You will be based at our Headquarters in Ipswich, but you will cover all of Suffolk. The job has hybrid working options including some working from home.
Your role
Your responsibilities This role is very varied and will involve working across Suffolk in a wide variety of locations. Typical day-to-day tasks will include responding to a planning consultation, scoping a new green access project on the ground, implementing a project where funding has been secured, developing a works specification, meeting a landowner or contractor, signing off a project, or compiling a report on the delivery of concurrent schemes.
