The Environment Team in Haywards Heath is expanding to meet an increasing workload for a range of local and national clients and due to this several key posts are being created. They form part of the overall business strategy to increase business and deliver to the local market in the South East of England.
Job description
The graduate role is multi-facetted and you will play a key role in the delivery of Haskoning’s environmental consultancy services in the UK, with a particular emphasis on the freshwater environment. However, you will need the flexibility to work across all Environment related work areas as well as to provide input to achieving projects objectives and aims under guidance from experienced staff
Key duties will include:
Baseline data and information collection and collation.
Assistance with consultation and liaison.
Environmental appraisal and assessment.
Assistance with environmental design.
Provision of general support to projects and proposals.
Desk studies.
Report writing.
Regular liaison with line management and Project Managers to ensure effective time management and delivery.
Identification of potential emerging issues, problems, constraints, resource or program conflicts.
Attendance at Advice Group (AG) meetings.
Assistance with Project or AG administration as necessary.
Effective application (after training) of the company QMS system.
General support to the Environment Business Group elsewhere in the UK as required.

Your qualifications and experience
You must have a degree related to the Environment field. The specific discipline can be from a variety of backgrounds such as biological, physical, or environmental sciences.
It would be desirable for you to have some experience in the working environment or other voluntary environmental work, but not essential.
