Job Description
As part of the Carbon Management team, the Post Holder will work within the area of Energy Performance Certification. The role will involve learning and providing the skills associated with Energy Performance Certification, including site surveying and SBEM data manipulation. The successful candidate shall also support the operation of the Carbon Management team in a variety of areas on an as required basis. This may include data manipulation for utility invoice queries, client account management, energy surveys and carbon foot printing.

The successful candidate will be self confident and be able to build working relationships with clients.

Required Skills
  • IT packages including MS Word, MS Excel, MS Access and MS Outlook.
  • Ability to accurately input data into software programmes.
  • Pre-understanding of SBEM software programme would be an advantage. However, training will be given.
  • An aptitude and interest in the built environment.
  • Well organised and be able to prioritise own workload with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to accurately measure and record data relating to buildings.
  • Numerically competent.
  • Strong communication skills both orally and in writing.
  • Report writing skills.
Qualification
  • A level in a mathematics based subject.
  • A first degree in a building related or scientific discipline.
  • A Masters Degree in an environmental based subject.
  • SBEM competency certificate.
  • A full driving licence.
