At GHD we appreciate the positive changes that can be brought about by introducing fresh and innovative perspectives and ideas from new people.  As such, we are looking for an enthusiastic Chemical Engineering Graduate to join our Sydney office ito be part of our Sustainability and Climate Change Team, early 2012.
 

What we are looking for

 
To be considered for one of these Graduate positions you will be due to complete or have completed your relevant qualification by the end of 2011.  
 
You will be able to demonstrate well developed problem-solving and analytical skills, excellent time management skills and have a keen eye for detail.  A good working knowledge of Excel, excellent communication skills and the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external clients is also essential for this role. Candidates will have a strong commitment to their work and career growth, coupled with an enthusiasm to learn.  
 
You will be involved in the following
  • Conducting greenhouse gas audits (desktop and on site) - this includes reviews of an organisation's data and systems
  • Calculating greenhouse gas inventories for environmental impact assessments and report writing
  • Developing greenhouse gas life cycle analysis
  • Developing spreadsheets for greenhouse gas inventories and life cycle analysis
  • Reviewing emissions modeling
  • Reviewing NPI data
  • Data analysis and interpretation
  • Building energy surveys
