Global Warming Technical Director / Scientist

Sequence is currently seeking a Technical Director to oversee the expansion of one of the most recognized multi-disciplinary Climate Change Practice Groups in the United States. The firm, already leading the industry, is involved in a wide variety of initiatives specifically related to the impact of climate change as it relates to every project in which they are currently working on throughout the organization.

The technical director would have a minimum 8+ years experience working in the climate change arena on all aspects related to developing, leading and expanding a climate change practice group. Candidates must have the abilities to develop business, contact clients, solicit prospective work, lead and manage scientific technical details related to project life cycles, scopes of work and project teams on a portfolio of projects throughout the nation.

The Technical Director would have direct responsibilities in overseeing all scientific climate change initiatives for the organization, leading projects, providing relations in regard to climate change projects and activities as well as expanding group capabilities in climate change initiatives for the future. This would include leading and contributing on projects related to climate change mitigation, greenhouse gas emissions, stratospheric ozone protection, modeling, and ecological impacts as related primarily to EPA and other associated agency projects.

Requires advanced degree in Environmental Science, Meteorology, Biology or related disciplines. Strong understanding of climate initiatives and aptitude to conduct business development activities on a daily basis.

Position can be based either in Denver, Colorado and/or Washington, DC. Offering exceptional compensation package for exceptionally qualified individuals.
