Job Description
• Optimization of Supply Chain Structure and Components
• Lead supplier selection teams and process.
• Negotiate pricing and master supply agreements.
• Manage Supplier Performance (key performance metrics, scorecards, Quarterly management reviews, etc)
• Ensure availability of capacity (including upside capacity)
• Achieve continuous and significant cost reductions
• Achieve continuous lead time reductions
• Manage supplier relationships at executive level
• Resolve supplier escalations
• Perform cost-price analyses and pricing projections
• Identify and evaluate alternative materials and sourcing options
• Identify and evaluate outsourced manufacturing options.
• Develop and implement long term supply strategies to meet future business needs
• Develop supply chain processes, tools, and automation

IMPACT ON THE BUSINESS: 
Assists NSLR to achieve cost targets for product Bill of Material per BOM Cost-Down project (GFI) and 5-year roadmap goals. Assists NSLR to optimize total supply chain ensuring the right components with the right quality arrive at our factories at the right prices. Key contribution is assurance of business continuity in the event of supply chain disruption. Also impacts “indirect” spend (Ex: Production equipment). Key metrics include negotiated savings, cost avoidance, and supplier relationships

Minimum Qualifications
MUSTS”
• Bachelors or higher degree in Business and/or Engineering
• Minimum 10 years of experience in supply chain and operations within the high technology industry.
“DESIRED”
• Solar company experience
• Experience in both large (“Fortune 1000”) and start-up companies
• Internal or external consulting experience (“Big 4” or “Boutique”)
• MBA
• APICS Certification highly desirable
• Oracle experience very beneficial
• Affiliation with professional supply chain, logistics, and/or procurement organizations
• Fluency in Mandarin
