An exciting opportunity has recently arisen with our client, a leading, multi-national engineering consultancy. This role will suit a geotechnical professional who is looking for new challenges or seeking a position with excellent career progression prospects. The main purpose of this role is to assist in the growth and delivery of the geotechnical business. This will include carrying out or contributing to geotechnical designs, assisting with financial and project management, helping to deliver the geotechnical aspects of multidisciplinary projects, contributing to the preparation of bids and marketing, and compiling reports. You will also coach and develop junior geotechnical engineers. A first degree in Civil Engineering or a Geology/Geotechnical related subject is required and it is expected that you will be either chartered or approaching Chartership. Along with working experience in an engineering consultancy, you will have a good track record in geotechnical analysis and design, as well as an understanding of soil mechanics and experience of foundation design. You will also have a good understanding of ground investigation techniques, documentation and scoping. Strong written and verbal communications skills are essential to this role, as is a full UK driving licence. This is a superb chance to join a team with a strong workload that is expanding. |
