We are looking for a highly motivated and commercially focussed individual able to ensure the centre’s operational effectiveness, future growth and delivery of the Trust’s 5 year plan and beyond for WWT London. The role involves a wide range of responsibilities including overall day to day management of the centre, financial outcomes, developing visitation and commercial opportunities as well as the promotion of the centre and our vital conservation work.
Experience of leading a multi-disciplined operation with a strong financial focus is essential. Knowledge gained within a visitor attraction would be beneficial as the desire to consistently deliver excellent customer care and a great visitor experience is essential. A demonstration of first rate people management skills, clear communication, energy and direction are also given criteria, as is the need to have an empathy with our conservation work and the ability to drive the customer service ethos throughout the centre.
