Functional Ecology seeks a new Editor to join the current editorial team; Functional Ecology is a highly ranked (current IF = 4.5) international journal of organismal ecology that publishes high impact papers across all taxa and a broad range of habitats and ecosystems.
The Editor must be a highly motivated and decisive communicator, and must act with thehighest probity. He or she must have an excellent understanding of the broad discipline of organismal ecology, ample experience with the peer review and editing processes, and commitment to maintaining the high editorial standards of the journal. The Editor will work as part of the senior editorial team to determine journal direction and to increase the reputation and quality of the Journal, in addition to being responsible for making decisions on submitted manuscripts.
