We seek an intern to assist in the day to day operations of the Southern Forest Restoration program. Applicants should have a good understanding of forestry and forestry issues in the Southeast that relate to communities and demonstrate willingness to learn. The forestry intern will work under close supervision and receive specific and detailed instructions for required tasks. The forestry intern will assist forestry program staff with all aspect of program planning, development, coordination and implementation. The position is a temporary full-time position (40 hours/week) and the forestry intern will be expected to be available and in the office during the 10 weeks internship. Some travel and/or overnight stays may be required.
