Description

It’s a really exciting time to join the Forest for Cornwall (F4C) Team and to be part of the wider Cornwall Team as we move towards Carbon Neutrality by 2030.  The F4C Team will be moving forward on a number of fronts over the coming months and you can be part of this and form it.

The Senior Programme Officer will have a real drive to deliver our ambitions and be excited by the opportunity to form the future - of the Programme and of Carbon Neutral Cornwall. Your enthusiam will be supported by experience of multiple project delivery, within the field or a strongly related field.  You will have strong skills in team management and team working alongside great communication skills, strong project management and organsitaional skills and strengths in stakeholder engagement. We are looking for innovative and creative problem solvers who can see and then work to deliver opportunities with the team, our colleagues, elected members, stakeholders, communities  and land owners and managers for the benefit of Cornwall.  Can you make F4C an exemplar and legacy for our residents....Tempted..... if you feel you have all the key ingredients then apply.

Initially these posts are being recruited to the end of March 2022 but we anticipate and hope that these roles can be extended subject to ongoing funding being secured.   This role will be key to securing that success and will work with the F4C Lead to drive delivery and develop the business case with key funders over the coming months - demonstrating the potential of and for the Forest 4 Cornwall.

Those who are successful will join a currently small but expanding team that sits within the wider Cornwall Environment Service – a great team covering many disciplines, creating strategic programmes with partners (for example the Nature Recovery Network) and managing our own assets across Cornwall – including beaches, Countryside sites, Public Spaces and our tree assets.  Apply HERE
